Teak Tock warrants its wood products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase men- tioned in the Tax Invoice.
Furniture in which defects occur, will be repaired to original finish or replaced at Teak Tock’s discretion.
The above warranty is exclusive and Teak Tock does not authorise any person or third party to offer it in connection with our furniture.
The limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on all main parts in the Teak Tock furniture, and is valid from the date of purchase/Tax invoice.
For clarification purposes only, the term “wood products” refers specifically to Teak Tock products (including, without limitation, upholstered beds and dining room chairs) and has no implication, directly or indirectly, to any upholstery products.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal residential usage only and does not apply to defects or damage resulting from (a) negligence, abuse or misuse; (b) inadequate or improper maintenance, cleaning or care; (c) exposure to chemicals and/or liquids; (d) accidents; (e) any use for which the product was not designed; or (f) any commercial or rental use of the product.
Warranty is null and void if furniture has been moved from original point of delivery.
These Limited Warranties do not apply to any products that have been altered by any person, dealer, or company without the express written authorisation of Teak Tock Furniture.
Teak Tock Furniture is made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in grain character and colour among wood and plant species are naturally occurring variations and are not within the control of the manufacturer nor considered defects under this warranty.
Movement/shifting of wooden products or exposure to extreme temperature changes and direct sunlight, may cause colour changes and/or surface damage and are not covered by this warranty.
All complaints or requests for warranty service must be accompanied by original dated proof of purchase and a brief written description of the defect.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
Any and all implied warranties, including warranties of mer- chantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty on the product, and on the particular portion or part of the product in question. The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. In no event will teak talk be liable to you for any damages, includ- ing incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use this product other than designed for.
In no event shall teak talk furniture be responsible for con- sequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use, incon- venience, loss or damage to personal property, whether indi- rect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort. In no event shall teak talk furniture responsibility exceeds the purchase price of the product or its replacement.
